How to take the quiz:
~Check off each quality which resonates with you. If you find that you were one way the majority of your life, but now you are a different way, mark each differently: 'was' with an X and 'is' with a check mark. This may reveal a pattern.
~Calculate the totals for each column. While the most accurate way to determine one's constitution/Dosha is with a pulse diagnosis, quizzes are very informative and have become quite popular. Things to note, as we are made up of all 5 Elements, which comprise the three Doshas, we are all of these yet each Dosha expresses itself at a different intensity. We are born with a base constitution however, life happens and imbalances occur. This is why some of the answers above might have answers from two columns . ex. heavy and light weight.
How to read totals:
~The column with the most marks is considered the primary Dosha. The next highest in points is second and the least points is third. So, Jaguar, Bear, Hummingbird would mean the constitution is Pitta, Kapha, Vata. Or...PKV, or V1P3K2 (3 means most & 1 means least). There are many ways people share their answer to "What's your Dosha?" Please know, there are so many layers to this. This little quiz was developed to provide newcomers with an tiny insight to an Ayurveda classification system and become familiar with the qualities, strengths, weaknesses and gifts that are attributed to the Doshas, THEM!
*Hummingbird represents Vata. Made up of Ether (Space) and Air, this light little creature flutters around, chatting away, eating small meal and certainly represents movement.
*Jaguar represents Pitta. Made up of Fire and Water, like a Pitta, Jaguar is muscular, intelligent, calculating, methodical, moderate size, sharp attack, sharp wit and saves energy by observing.
*Bear represents Kapha. Made up of Water and Earth and just like Earth, Kapha Bears can be static, heavy, and hibernate for long periods. They also very much go with a flow and like water, level headed. Chill and loving yet, fiercely protective.

I have been using this Ayurvedic Pain Oil for 14 years now. The best description I could provide for it's aroma is 'earthy'. The warming properties are quite soothing on the aches. Our favorite brand is Banyan Botanicals because their brand contains no milk [as of publishing this] and provides consistent quality.
